Tammara Bode


Clinical Psychologist

Tammara's primary focus has been on sport psychology and the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adolescents ages 2-18. Tammara’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, focusing on enhancing youth sports performance through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate of Psychology in Counseling from Northwest University.

Tammara’s clinical training includes providing cognitive behavioral therapy and sport psychology services to incarcerated youth in Northern California. At the doctoral level, she completed a practicum in forensic neuropsychology focusing on brain injury and cognitive testing. During her pre-internship year, Tammara received specific neurodevelopmental training at the University of Washington Autism Center and HopeCentral Behavioral Health, focused on Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, and Intellectual Disability. Tammara completed her final doctoral internship at LittleStar ABA Therapy in Carmel, Indiana, where she received further diagnostic experience focused on autism and clinical training in applied behavioral analysis and challenging behaviors.

Tammara’s approach to therapy combines humanistic counseling skills with goal-oriented, evidenced-based behavioral interventions. She has a deeply held existential belief that there is a common humanity that connects us all. In accordance with this, she aspires to live and work in a way that promotes diversity and the welfare of others.

When not working, Tammara can be found teaching various fitness classes, including Pilates, yoga, and cycling. She loves hiking with her friends and spending time with her six sisters in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
