Autumn Moore
Hello, I am Autumn Skye and I know reaching out for support is an act of honoring your own needs, and I honor the intention and courage it takes to begin this process. I am honored to show up and be present with individuals and meet them where they are at. I find it profoundly meaningful to treat each moment in my time alongside people with care, intention, connection, and community in mind, these values inform the way I build therapeutic relationships and guide my work with individuals across the lifespan. As a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed counselor, I aim to create a space where each person feels understood, supported, and empowered in their identity.
I work extensively with children, adolescents, and adults, often those in neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ populations. I use play-based approaches in my work with children, adolescents, and parents to support authentic self-expression, skill-integration, and behavioral interventions. I work closely with individuals who experience obsessive compulsive disorders adopting interventions from both Exposure and Response Prevention and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral approaches. Integrating interventions informed by both Dialectical Behavioral Therapies and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies, I support clients who experience challenges in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relation distress. Additionally, I work considerably with clients exploring various aspects in identity and transitions in life, integrating both narrative and existential approaches to support meaning-making, grief and trauma processing, and self-esteem. I am dedicated to helping individuals deepen relationships with themselves and others, navigate identity, grief, and loss, and develop skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, manage moods, and more.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy my time with my two cats, Rascal and Clementine and spend my free time challenging my cooking skills, playing board and video games with friends, and exploring new local spots with my partner! I thank you for inviting me to be part of your support and growth. Therapy is a collaborative process—one in which we work together to cultivate adaptive and meaningful change in your life. It is a privilege to walk alongside you as I believe every person deserves the time and space it takes to honor their powerful individual identity and experience.
