Jenny Lee

LMHC

My name is Jenny (she/her), and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist at Dayspring. I work with teens/tweens and adults and have experience across outpatient, inpatient, and higher levels of care. I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and also trained in SoulCollage® and Sand Tray Narrative therapy. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental, where you can show up as you are.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, ASD, and challenges with self-worth or identity. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or find themselves being hard on themselves in ways that are difficult to shift.

When working with ADHD and ASD, I focus on helping clients better understand how their minds and nervous systems work, while building practical supports that fit their day-to-day lives. I also work to reduce shame and create space for a more compassionate and realistic understanding of yourself.

In our work together, we slow things down and get curious about what’s going on beneath the surface. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore all the different parts of you. Rather than trying to push those parts away, we work to understand them and build a more compassionate relationship with ourselves.

I also incorporate art therapy as a way to explore thoughts and emotions that can be hard to put into words. This might include drawing, imagery, SoulCollage®, or sand tray. These approaches can help make things feel more accessible and give us another way to understand your experiences. You don’t need to be “creative” or have any art background—just a willingness to explore and play.

My approach is collaborative and paced based on what feels comfortable for you. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences, building insight, and finding ways to feel more grounded and connected in your daily life.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy horseback riding, spending time with my partner and toddler, exploring art and book stores, and trying new restaurants.
