HOW WE GET THERE
I prioritize working collaboratively with my clients as I provide a judgment-free space, supporting my client with experience, insight, and guidance. I have a passion for working with clients to better learn resiliency, hope, and coping skills, which can be achieved by using your own natural strengths. To accomplish this, many of the therapies I use, and skills I help you build, will be rooted in empathy, education, and solutions. Some of these include: CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), SFBT (solution-focused brief therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), psychodynamic therapies, and various art and narrative therapies. For couples, I also work with the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy and EFT (emotionally focused therapy).
The ultimate goal is for you to use your new-found resilience to positively adapt and cope on your own with whatever comes your way in the future.
MORE ABOUT ME
When out of the office, I enjoy going for walks, especially hiking in the beautiful PNW. I also enjoy reading, watching TV shows/movies, and spending time with family.
